Voyageur selects media projects based on
its mission, the needs of the community, potential funding
resources and the degree of collaboration among allied
scholars, artists and institutions. Our Board of Trustees
approves, administers and reviews projects at quarterly
meetings. A Project Director supervises the development,
production and distribution of each program. |
|
| |
Voyageur earns project funding from public agencies, private
foundations, corporate foundations and individual patrons.
Projects are developed in three distinct phases: concept,
script development and production/post-production/distribution.
Our production team works closely with project advisors
to help ensure the content is accurate, engaging and honorable.
Voyageur's media projects are distributed to local, regional
and national public television stations, schools, museums
and libraries. At this time, Voyageur does not solicit
outside proposals. We do collaborate on external projects
with established media, academic and community organizations.
